When you use Clausix, we may collect:

• Account information: Email address and password (hashed) when you create an account
• Contract content: The text you upload or paste for analysis
• Usage data: Number of scans, feature usage, and timestamps
• Payment information: Processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide contract analysis services
• To manage your account and subscription
• To improve the Service
• To communicate about your account or the Service

3. Contract Data Handling

Your contract data is handled with care:

• Contract text is encrypted in transit using 256-bit TLS
• Analysis results are stored in your account for your reference
• Contract content is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely for analysis — it is not used to train AI models
• Guest users' contracts are only stored in their browser (localStorage) and are never sent to our servers for storage

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Authentication and database hosting
• Anthropic (Claude): AI-powered contract analysis
• Stripe: Payment processing
• Vercel: Application hosting

5. Data Retention

Analysis results are retained in your account until you delete them or close your account. If you delete your account, all associated data is removed within 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the data we hold about you
• Request deletion of your data
• Export your analysis history
• Opt out of any marketing communications

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or sell data to advertisers.
